Samsung Omnia II

HTC set a standard for Windows Mobile customization with TouchFLO, and last year Samsung made their entry into the market with the TouchWiz UI touting Omnia. The Samsung Omnia II I8000 is now here, and a 2 has been added to the end of TouchWiz as well. This new Omnia is bigger and badder, with just about everything getting a refresh. The screen has gained half an inch- now up to 3.7” and the resolution has quadrupled to 480x800. AMOLED technology has replaced TFT for improved battery life and more vibrant images. Video capture is now DVD quality, and connection standards such as 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS are all on board, along with 8GB of internal storage. The 800MHz processor is one of the fastest currently on the market, and it has a healthy 256MB of RAM and 512MB ROM. TouchWiz now penetrates into the deepest caverns of Windows Mobile, but will it be enough to make up for the clunky UI’s shortcomings?

Samsung SGH-U100 Cell Phone - Supper Slim

WHAT IS the equivalent of a size zero black dress in the mobile phone world? The answer is simple, the Samsung SGH U100.

It is a mere 5.9mm thick and unless there is a huge leap in mobile phone or any related technology, it would be hard to imagine phones getting any thinner than this.

Increasing the volume in Samsung SGH-E250

Just key in: *#8999*8378# or *#0206*8378# now u get a menu named "Test Mode". choose "H/W test"then choose "Audio Settings". Now u can see lots of choises, choose number 13. its "IIS Normal2". when u see "ear gain" "hfr gain" and "rx vol" under "IIS Normal 2",increase "ear gain" from 11 upto 15 and optionally u can decrease "hfr gain" from 15 to 11, as to minimize the output sound be faded out. Now save and get out of the menu. This should work good and u can see the difference instantly.

Increasing the mp3 volume:

Choose "rx vol" go to level 14 and put there a number between 2000 and 3000 (if u go higher than 3000 the sound will be bad) now press save.or,u can do increase each level 200 one from another .i,e, 200,400.......2800. Now quit the menu and play a song on the highest level.. if everything went allright the sound will be incresed a lot.

Installing Games and Appz to your Samsung SGH-E250

Things to prepare:

USB Data Cable
Softick PPP
Java Uploader
JAD Maker

Steps:

1: Install SoftickPPP221.Ignore any errors about usbsync.dll, just click OK.Leave the option use usb in shared mode checked. Run when finished installing. Youll get an error message about being unable to locate usbport.dll , just click cancel.

2: Plug in your usb cable and turn phone on.

3: Right click on softickppp running in your taskbar and select settings.In the usb tab uncheck accept ppp connection on usb and tick both use usb in exclusive mode and overide usb compatability check. Click on ok and completely exit softickppp by right clicking then exit.

4: Run softickppp and again goto settings. On the bluetooth\serial tab tick the correct com port. mine is com3. Then click OK

5: On your phone key in *#52828378# press 2 ota type setting and select serial bearer ota.

6 Run samsung java uploader and add your jad file

7 On your phone select 3 serial test , 1 ppp up , 2 usb,Your phone will now reboot. While its rebooting right cklick on softickkppp in your taskbar and choose shutdown ppp

8: When your phone has rebooted again key in *#52828378#

9: Right click softickk ppp and activate ppp

10: On your phones java test menu press 3 serial test , 1 ppp up , 2 usb , 2 serial download
